April 2004 : Summer Trading and Spring Winners

As you are aware, trading is getting ready to end for the Spring 2004 semester and I would like to go over a couple of things. I would like to ask you not to announce your final winners until at least a week after trading has ended. I am asking this because we would like to go over the accounts one last time to make sure everything is correct before the winners are announced. Once we have verified everything, then go ahead and announce all your winners. We would greatly appreciate your help with this.

Also, our offices will be open over the summer and if you would like to run a summer simulation, you can. We do ask that you have a minimum of 20 teams over the summer to make it worthwhile. If you do not want to offer a summer simulation, or if you don't think you will have 20 teams, please direct any teachers that is interested in a summer simulation to our National SMS web page at www.nationalsms.com. Our National SMS web page runs 52 weeks of the year and has a new trading period that starts every other week.
